Maiden Voyage!

Finally got a chance to take out the new kayak. Our 12 mile trip down the Bayou Teche started off in Loreauville, Louisiana and ended in New Iberia at the city park boat ramp. There were lots of sights to see as we traveled along the bayou and we took our time so we didn't wear ourselves out in the high temperatures we had today.

It took us around 3 1/2 hours to make the trip. Everything went well except for forgetting the keys to the jeep that we parked at the city park. Lol Had to take a taxi ride back to Loreauville to get the keys.

We had a great time today and look forward to doing it again!
